Unwanted email!

This is so hilarous! I was just checking my mail and I saw this. I felt I should share it here . . .

Man checked into a hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send a mail to his wife. However, he accidentally typed a wrong address, and without realizing he sent the mail.

Meanwhile somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned from her husband's funeral. The widow decided to check her mail, expecting condolence messages from relatives and friends.

After reading the first message, she fainted. The son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I've reached.
I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have Computers here, and we are allowed to send mails to loved ones. I've just reached and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow.

Average Life Span...

The general belief is that an average man is expected to live as long as 70 years old! However, this will depend on the location of that "average human".

I just read a report published in a news paper with a heading "Life expectancy in Nigeria drops to 49 years"

Can you imagine that? Well read on and lets ponder . . .

A professor of medicine, Friday Okonofua, has said that the life expectancy of the Nigerian has dropped from 52 to 49 years.

Okonofua, provost of the College of Medicine of the University of Benin, said the decline could be traced directly to the increased rate of deaths among women, infants and children.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria that the situation was caused by poor access to healthcare for these categories of Nigerians as a result of inadequate health facilities, ignorance and poverty.

He said, “This situation is related to the high poverty level in the society, where more than 70 per cent of the people live on less than one dollar per day.

“Whatever financial resources they have is often devoted to eking out a daily subsistence living rather than being used for appropriate healthcare.”

He called on traditional rulers, religious leaders and other well-meaning Nigerians to prevail on mothers and women to seek appropriate healthcare services.

He also urged Nigerians to abstain from harmful traditional practices that hindered good health.

Who is your favourite IDOL!

The ongoing Idols (East and Southern African) edition is getting HOTTER! Whao!

Yesterday the last four contestants performed and I was impressed. Of all 3 judges, the most sincere in his comments is Scar! Like I said and I will continue to say, may the best win! The truth is that each one of these contestants have their own unique strength. This strength may be in form of vocals or just performing.

I have always liked Nicolette - she has a good voice. I will join Kawesa and say thank you to Africa for believing in her. Eric is the man! The last man standing. I am truly happy for him! He has a good strong masculine voice. He knows this and he is using it well. Adiona . . . that girl is an artiste! I love her confidence! She sings and performs well. She has shown her versatility by cutting across all music genres. Trinah has a good voice and just like Adiona, she is also a good performer! I love her moves.

I could go on and on showering my praises on these contestants, but that would not boost their votes! I do not know who your favourite Idol is. You will be doing that person a huge favour by voting on line by visiting the mnet site. Later today, we'll know who had the least votes! I hope that person would not be your favourite!
